This is the second knife I am buying. Love love the first one and wanted to have the same one in my second home. Stop your search! Just buy this knife and thank me later! This thing is awesome. The first knife I have already for 4-6 month and no change in quality. That’s why I went and purchased a second one. It arrived in 2 days and I had a huge pack of chicken cutlets that it let me filet super thin.. although this is a vegetable knife I use it for meat as well. Cut so smoothly and fast.

I know it’s cheap, but it compares very favorably to the similarly priced Victorinox Fibrox, which I’ve had for years. Sharper than the Vic for now at least. I keep it from staying wet very long due to the carbon content, and so far no rusting and it’s staying very, very sharp with just honing. I wouldn’t use it for abusive use like bones, but for fine veggie chopping and especially tomatoes, it’s the best knife I’ve used.

This knife is weighted well, high quality materials, and good steel. If you purchase it, be ready to sharpen it right away upon opening. I’ve rarely bought knives that were this dull straight out of the box. Still though, after sharpening it’s been a really great knife and it’s held the edge pretty well too.

  4. Nancy Punch

It’s a handsome knife that can cut effortlessly, sold by a company that cares about the way they present their product. They delivered a high quality knife for a very good price. I’m very impressed and plan on purchasing another one as a gift.

Very nice for outing knife. The material is premium, very sharp knife. I have used this knife for a couple days, I cut super thin beef, used it for hard carrots, onions, it all works well. It’s not heavy in weight, the handle is comfortable. As far as durability and maintenance of the sharp blade, we’ll have to see. So far, it’s the best chef’s knife I’ve used in this price level.

I was shocked at how nice this bushcraft knife is based on it’s cost. It is perfectly balanced, the handle is made of a luxurious and finely finished wood that is beautiful and it cuts like a champ. I have owned much more expensive knives that were not as balanced in the hand, not as well finished and didn’t come with a beautiful handle. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget who appreciates quality. Beats the low end JA Henckels and Whustoffs by a mile. I don’t know how they produce such a nice piece for so little money. I have happily added it to my collection of daily use kitchen cutlery. Thanks Imarku for the great design, balance and quality of this knife!

Purchased this on a whim because I needed a beater knife for when the in-laws or friends visited and needed to cook. For the price it’s a decent knife. The weight is a bit on the light end, especially when compared to my Wusthof chef knife but that blade was 3x the price. The knife came with a good edge out of the box but durability is still to be seen. I’d recommend for someone who just needs an extra “beater” knife or someone who just needs a cheap chef knife to get their knife collection started.

I have a few expensive bushcraft knives that I have collected over the past 50 years. Some of them cost close to $100 each. They are great, but have to be sharpened frequently. I was given this knife as a birthday present, and loved it so much I bought one for my sister. I have had my knife for about 11 months, and I have not had the need to use a steel to realign the molecules, nor have I had to sharpen it. This is one amazing knife. It cuts tomatoes effortlessly, which is a true sign of a sharp knife.

“Overall I am very happy with my bushcraft Knife!
I have to say that I am not a great cook but I need to use it everyday for housecook, which is certainly demanding, so in my experience I can say that the knife is really well balanced, it is a fancy knife, coming in an amazing box and looking very beautiful! Then, right out of the box it is incredibly sharp and it has been like this for the time I have had it! I mainly use it to cut vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc, and of course meat and chicken (no bones). Also, the weight is perfect as we can feel its quality and the handle is comfortable and ergonomic.”

  13. Warren Sparling

This knife is very lightweight and easy to use. It come out of of box extremely sharp so be careful. I have a large hand and the handle is a tiny bit small for my liking but it is still very comfortable. We only use it for cutting meats and it has no issues after using it for about two months. The handle is very pretty being a dark black and brown wood. Looks kind of like bocote wood.

  14. Courtney Brown

I’m completely impressed by this knife. I wasn’t sure what to expect because of the modest price but was pleasantly surprised. The knife feels great in the hand and has very good balance. Very good quality and razor sharp right out of the box. I use it as a chef’s knife so I’m not hacking bones with it but it slices beautifully and easily. I can’t speak to how it holds an edge or resharpens because I haven’t had to touch it up yet. I don’t think it’ll be a problem. I do recommend this chef’s knife.
